The Card Meter is a prepayment card system which is used with £1, £5, £10, £20 disposable cards (CPES Coded) that are usually purchased from a warden or reception. Simple to use - the card is placed into the meter to add credit, enabling the socket outlet to dispense electric in units. Once credit is added the card is released leaving a stamp in the card making it unusable. The card metered can be reprogrammed to your individual electricity rate with the units dispensed in proportion to the rate the meter is set at.
