Metstrade 2015 saw the launch of Maricers new service pedestal Atlantis. Eighteen months in development, Atlantis brings revolution over evolution to marine utility service pedestals.
Offering a truly innovative design, Atlantis will compliment any project seeking to add a modern, stylish look to the world of leisure marinas.
Manufactured in marine grade HDPE, Atlantis has been designed to withstand the effects of salt water, moisture, direct sunlight, along with extremes of temperatures associated with the marina environment.
Atlantis also exhibits high impact strength, as well as excellent tensile strength, energy absorption, abrasion resistance, and a resistance to cracking. The decorative textured surface of marine grade HDPE does not show wear, dirt, or scratches, meaning that the level of cleaning and maintenance required is minimal, unlike other materials commonly used.
Available in a wide variety of colours, the appearance of Atlantis can be further enhanced with the addition of aluminium composite panels, a wide range of LED lighting, and illuminated marina logo.
Incorporated within its unique innovative design, Atlantis also affords complete segregation of water and power services, something which is becoming more prevalent in many regions around the globe.
Its flexibility means that Atlantis can be used for every purpose that a modern marina demands from providing power, water, and communications, to SOS Emergency stations, and pump out facilities.
The stylish design of Atlantis was very well received at METS, not only by marina owners and operators, but also by many well respected and leading consultants across the marine industry.
So much so that we are proud to announce that the first order for “Atlantis” is now in production to compliment a new prestigious project in Qatar.
A representative of the client commented “I was not only impressed with the overall design of Atlantis, which is very pleasing on the eye, but also the attention to the technical detail clearly demonstrates that a good deal of thought has gone into its design, in order to comply with the various regulatory bodies around the globe and also here in Qatar”.
He continued, “when we started sourcing service pedestals, our remit was essentially something different, something that sets our project apart, stylish, but cost effective. Atlantis achieves this perfectly”.
